We provide a 10-year structural warranty on all Riviera brand horse floats assembled by us in NSW after 1 May 2024. The non-structural components of the floats have these warranty periods:
All warranty periods commence running from the date of manufacture shown on the VIN plate on the float.
Exclusions and servicing requirements
Our warranties do not cover bore water stains or any chemicals that cause corrosion, or any damage resulting from misuse, impacts, overloading, or failure to maintain the float. Tyres, jockey wheels, bearings, batteries and the dulling or fading of surfaces are also excluded.
To maintain your warranty all floats with living areas must be serviced within 6 months of purchase, and all other floats within 12 months of purchase. Failure to service the float as required may void the warranty.
Modifications to the float and any unauthorised repairs may also void your warranty.
Warranty Claims Procedure
To make a warranty claim you must first contact us to discuss the nature of your issue and, if possible, provide photos.
The product must be returned to us for inspection unless you have obtained our written authorisation to use an alternative location. In all cases, the owner is responsible for transporting the product to and from our premises. Freight and delivery costs are not covered by the warranty.
If we agree to repairs by an outside repairer, you must obtain a written quotation explaining the nature and cost of the repair, and our written authorisation before any work begins. Unauthorised repairs may void your warranty.
